ZoneBitcoin EditorialLa Bitcoin Africa Conference will be held from 25 in April 27 2025 withEliteOffices, in the heart of Douala, the (economic) capital of Cameroon. This unique three-day event aims to explore the potential of Bitcoin for French-speaking Africa, with a focus on financial inclusion and technological innovation.
While several other conferences were held at Senegal visit us at the Ghana as well as in Kenya, this is the first time that an event of this magnitude will be held in Cameroon.
Conference Program
The conference offers a rich and varied program, including keynotes, panel discussions, practical workshops, and networking opportunities. Notable sessions include:
- April 25:
- 09 pm - 30 am : Keynote on the opportunities and challenges of the Bitcoin market in French-speaking Africa.
- 10 pm - 00 am : Panel on the use of Bitcoin as an open-source tool for economic development.
- April 26:
- 09 pm - 00 am : Presentation of the regulations and legal framework for Bitcoin in Africa.
- 14 pm - 00 am : Bitcoin Kids Camp, an interactive workshop for children aimed at understanding Bitcoin through educational games.
- April 27:
- 09 pm - 00 am : Excursion in the western region of Cameroon, including visits to cultural and historical sites.
🎤 Inspiring, expert and committed speakers
The Bitcoin Africa Conference will bring together a selection of talented speakers from across the continent, each bringing unique expertise and a real vision for the future of Bitcoin in Africa. Among them, Bitcoin node operators, consultants, designers, authors or alternatively organizers of major crypto events. They all have in common a deep commitment to education, financial inclusion and technological autonomy.
We will find among others the developer Nourou, active bitcoiner in Senegal, the bitcoin consultant Bouhari Mouhamed, Loïc Kassamoto, Cho Rimsky, Milton Mbim, and other experts on the subject.
Ticket Pricing
Participants have the choice between several ticket categories:
- Standard Ticket : 10 XAF
- Full access to the event, coffee breaks, dinner, networking, art exhibition and a chance to win prizes totaling $50.
- VIP ticket : 40 XAF
- All the benefits of the standard ticket, plus access to the VIP lounge, participation in an ultra-private gala, B2B meeting opportunities, and project consultation with experts.
- Prestige Ticket : 60 XAF
- Includes all the benefits of standard and VIP tickets, plus a vcultural visit to the native village of Kylian Mbappé in Jaballe and an exclusive gift bag.
