Our CryptoPay review may be helpful if you are hesitant about ordering this card. We have already spoken to you about advantages of having a cryptocurrency bank card. We also told you about the map Wirex. Now I'm going to tell you about another bitcoin bank card that I love and also use: CryptoPay.
Presentation of the CryptoPay company
Cryptopay is a financial services company licensed in the United Kingdom and Wales. The company launched in 2013. It is even one of the oldest crypto bank cards on the market, although it is not as popular as the others.
Cryptopay offers a bitcoin debit card and a bitcoin wallet. With CryptoPay you can exchange and transfer your euros and your bitcoins and others Cryptocurrencies.
In addition, with CryptoPay bitcoin cards you can pay in any store around the world.
Like most other cards like Wirex for example, you can have multiple currency accounts. The accepted currency accounts are dollars, euros and GBP and the crypto account is multiple (ethereum, bitcoin, ripple and bitcoin).
CryptoPay with Wirex are the industry leaders, with over 100 cards delivered for CryptoPay.
How to get a bitcoin card CryptoPay:
First of all, you don't need a cell phone number. Most bitcoin bank card providers require it!
The registration process is very simple. All you have to do is fill in the requested fields such as your name and email and of course, your password. In 2 minutes, you are registered!
Cryptopay account interface:

Once logged in, you will be taken to your accounts page. You can see opposite that you simply need to create an additional account to store your other cryptocurrencies.
You also see that you can deposit money in euros directly into your CryptoPay account. A bank transfer is sufficient.
You can also exchange and transfer your balances according to the currency or cryptocurrency of your choice.
So on the Accounts tab, you see at a glance the amount of your assets.

You must also and above all validate your account by sending your identity documents. It's even required before doing anything with CryptoPay.
When you convert from bitcoin to fiat currency, or vice versa, it is the exchange rate indicated on the site directly, to the right of the CryptoPay logo.
The Settings tab is accessible if you click on your name in the upper right corner of the site. CryptoPay also has two-factor authentication, for even more security.
Bitcoin bank cards CryptoPay
Like on Wirex ou AdvCash, you can opt for two different cards. A virtual card and a physical card. Shipping is free worldwide.
You don't know which card to choose between the virtual bank card and the plastic one? Please note that the plastic card is useful for your purchases in physical stores. There, where you can pay at payment terminals. If you also need to take out bank notes, the physical card is ideal.
On the other hand, if you are looking to pay online and online only, the virtual card is perfect for you.
A real bitcoin wallet
The thing that I particularly like about bitcoin credit card providers is the security. Indeed, you can store your cryptocurrencies in a simple and very secure way. For example, all transactions carried out on cryptoPay are secured with SSL encryption. Better yet, if you haven't validated the devices you want to use CryptoPay on, then you'll need to send an email. Basically, it's very difficult to hack yourself or your account!

Cryptopay fees:
You have to be honest. CryptoPay does not have the lowest fees in the bitcoin card market. But, however, it remains very affordable. And above all, it is worth it because CryptoPay is a real online bank. There is a monthly service fee of 1,00 euros/dollars or GBP.
This is also the big difference with Wirex for example which has no account maintenance fees. (We will give you a report on the difference between Wirex and CryptoPay).
CryptoPay also has loading fees - like all bitcoin card providers - indeed. The fee is 1%.
Here is the table of fees depending on whether it is a virtual or plastic card

Buy and withdraw your bitcoins
Making deposits and withdrawals on Cryptopay is very easy. For me, who used to buy my bitcoins through Coinbase. In fact, now I buy directly from CryptoPay. It's just as fast and secure. And, what's more, they are directly on my card.
I love it and I think you do too!
The pros and cons of Cryptopay
The benefits
- Multi-featured CryptoPay (bitcoin debit card, cryptocurrency wallet and bitcoin exchange)
- A simple and easy website
- Two-factor authentication possible
- Secure account.
- Free card delivery
The inconvenients
- Monthly account management fees (but, hey, it’s only 1 euro per month…)
- A maximum of 5 ATM transactions, loading and withdrawal per day, even if you are verified.
My opinion on Cryptopay
The Cryptopay card is a great bitcoin debit card option. To tell you about my life, I have three bitcoin bank cards including Wirex and CryptoPay.
I use the Wirex card regularly and I send you to the article I wrote on it. But, because CryptoPay has multiple crypto accounts like Ripple and Ethereum, I also use this card. I actually use the CryptoPay card much like my Ledger. In other words, it is above all for its security that I highly appreciate the CryptoPay card.
