Bitcoin Racing is looking for new drivers for car races

Motorsport fans will be pleased to know that Bitcoin Racing is now accepting new participants. Charles MacKenzie , co-founder and head of business development for Bitcoin Racing, aims to raise awareness of Bitcoin among a wider audience through motorsport. By participating in races himself as a driver, he hopes to bring together Bitcoin and racing enthusiasts in championships open to everyone.

The Bitcoin Racing team has several cars competing in three championships with six drivers at the moment. Officially sponsored by El Salvador, the cars also display the Bitcoin logo.

Currently, Bitcoin Racing has launched a scholarship program to train new drivers who will participate in future championships.

Bitcoin Racing: When car racing raises awareness about Bitcoin

The Bitcoin Racing organization aims to increase awareness, education, and adoption of Bitcoin, while simultaneously supporting El Salvador through advertising in the field of motorsports, reports Bitcoin Magazine . Charles MacKenzie established this partnership in London to participate in the promotion of tourism and investment in El Salvador.

BitcoinRacing first gained recognition during the Nankang Tyres City Car Cup , a motorsport championship held over eight weekends across the UK. The races are broadcast live on YouTube and ITV.

Bitcoin Racing also participates in other championships open to professionals and enthusiasts who wish to race with the bitcoin flag. Among the guests and participants of the races, there are some celebrities such as Sebastian Melrose (Formula Ford 1600) who gained his notoriety by becoming the finalist of the television series on Netflix: "Too hot to Handle".

How to participate in the Bitcoin Racing scholarship

On X (formerly Twitter), Bitcoin Racing clarified the terms of the scholarship program for people who would like to become a driver with the team for an entire season of the City Car Cup. All driver costs will be covered for the entire season.

The selected drivers will be chosen according to their skills on the track, their state of mind, their ability to discuss with public media and social networks.

As part of the selection process, the candidate will have to participate in three rounds:

  • 1)A Go-Kart challenge
  • 2) a Sim Racing challenge
  • 3) The final round where the participant will drive a bitcoin-colored car.
