We have already told you about the link between blockchain and real estate, it’s a fact. We told you about a platform that we particularly appreciate which is RealT which allows us to collect rent from real estate in the USA that we own.
And, if you told us that now, we can completely buy an entire house (on RealT, we buy fractions of the house that we share between different owners) in the form of an NFT.

The first house sold based in Florida, in Tampa Bay, for the modest sum of 210 ETH (approximately $650,000). It is a Spanish-style house with 5 bedrooms which still targets a clientele with (cryptographic) means.
Note: The NFT serves here as a technological vector for papers and property contracts in particular. The NFT itself therefore included:
- A photo of the property in question
- A transfer of ownership document where the owner signs their ownership.
- A mural by artist Derek Donnelly “Saint Paint”
This is the company Propy who made this sale and it then enjoyed very good visibility. Founder and CEO Natalia Sti announced that this was only the beginning and that the phenomenon would take on another dimension. Indeed, for her, real estate clearly has an ideal prospect of development with NFTs.
This makes operations and sales much simpler for all parties.
Propy is currently working to develop other services that could facilitate the purchase of real estate such as:

- Transfer of ownership using smart contract.
