How to install MetaMask on your browser?

Create a MetaMask account

So click on the logo on the search bar of your browser. Enter a password. There, click on “create” to validate your registration.

When you have entered your password, a new screen will appear. You will see a sequence of 12 words in a row. This is your private key, it is essential to save this sequence of words in a secure location. Copy the sentence somewhere (on a USB key for example, a secure notebook, etc.).

This is the only way to recover your MetaMask account if you uninstall the app or log in on another computer. Never share your private key because it is with this key that your funds can be accessed.

And There you go ! Well done! You have just created your MetaMask account!

Now you can send or receive ETH. For example, if you purchased ETH on coinbase with your credit card, you can send it to this MetaMask address.

How to recover your tokens from an ICO or Airdrop? 

Then, add your token information (token Contract Address or the symbol).

It's on the website of Ethplore  where you can find even more information. Above all, you will be able to see if tokens have been sent to you or not.

Do a search for example in the right bar. Enter the name of the token in question to find the necessary information.
