On Wikipedia, we can read that at the age of 4, he was playing with computers and Excels in particular. At the age of 7, he had written a very detailed encyclopedia on rabbits.
Furthermore, he was interested in computers from a very young age. As a teenager, he developed a passion for video games and became a true gamer. It's worth noting that his father is a computer scientist, which likely helped him learn the ropes. He is so passionate about computers that he even won a bronze medal at the International Olympiad in Informatics.

Vitalik was born in 1994 in Russia and moved to Canada in 2000, when he was 6 years old.
Vitalik Buterik was (is?) a great gamer. We won't be surprised. He was an avid World of Warcraft player from 2007 to 2010. One day a storm knocked out his computer. He was very affected by the total loss of his data. That day, he realized how catastrophic centralized services can be.
In 2011, he was searching for a new purpose in life. He writes this in his biography. It was at that time that he discovered how Bitcoin works . He says that at first he was a little skeptical because there was no physical form of it.
Beginnings as a crypto editor…
Little by little, he became interested in the subject. At first, he wanted to mine bitcoin and be part of the community. But, not having the means, he decided to write articles on the subject. In exchange, he would be paid in bitcoin. Imagine that he was paid 5 BTC for each article!
He started writing for a blog called "Bitcoin Weekly". At the time he was paid $3,50 for each article. Needless to say, how much he was able to earn from these articles!
In 2012, he entered the University of Waterloo. In 2013, he realized that crypto projects were taking up 30 hours/week of my time, so he left college.
Subsequently, he co-founded one of the first specialized magazines: Bitcoin Magazine , with Mihai Alisie . It's clear, then, that he was among the first users of the Bitcoin ecosystem.
He was therefore an editor for Bitcoin Magazine until 2014. You can read his articles here . You can see that he had a certain talent and a way with words. It was there that he solidified his reputation and gradually built his network.
He traveled all over the world, explored many cryptography projects and eventually realized that they were all too concerned with specific applications and not general enough – hence the birth of Ethereum, which has occupied his life ever since.
Thus, Vitalik Buterin has made a huge breakthrough in the world of cryptos. Thanks to his genius, we were able to go even further in Blockchain.
What exactly is Ethereum?
